David and David, Inc.
David and David, Inc. is a leading women's' apparel, shoes and accessory designer located in New York. The company produces major spring and winter shows each year.
As a relatively new fashion house, it was important to get the name out there as quickly as possible. Designing, hiring models, and putting together the shows were more than enough work for David and David, but there was one thing missing... a product presence on the web.
Next on the runway...BraveLine Technology.
- Starting with only a domain name, BraveLine Technology worked with the non-technical directors of the company to get their overall web strategy formalized and implemented.
- Once formalized, BraveLine Technology designed a web site consistent with company guidelines and client specifications.
- Upon design completion, BraveLine Technology loaded in site content, consisting of thousands of photographs, which also required massive digital reproduction and re-touching.
- To make the site more interactive, BraveLine Technology made use of Macromedia's Flash technology. Drawing from data on a SQL server, clothing lines were served up in a fashion showcase framework.
In record time, David and David was armed with an interactive website, showcasing clothing lines, press releases and upcoming fashion shows. The lesson learned.... shoes, apparel and technology are all important fashion accessories.
